TRAVEL TERMS FOR PERMANENT STAFF TRAVEL 1/1 2025:

Information about travel offers for you who are on permanent employment in Stena Rederi A/S.

Staff Tickets

As an employee, you are welcome to use your staff discount on our regular prices. Important to keep in mind is that the staff discount is not valid on already discounted tickets or temporary offers. This means that some ongoing promotions, such as cruises or day trips, may have a lower price than your staff price.

Entitlements:

·         Passenger tickets: 10 per year

·         Vehicle tickets: 6 per year (including 1 driver + 4 passengers/car)

Available routes:

·         Nynäshamn – Ventpils

·         Travemünde – Liepaja

·         Karlskrona - Gdynia

All staff ticket prices are updated on a yearly basis.

Example: If you book a round trip with one car ticket for up to 5 passengers, you will use 2 vehicle ticket and 0 amount of passenger tickets.

Booking Rules:

·         If you find a better offer after booking with a staff discount, you can cancel your staff ticket and book the promotional ticket, following current booking rules.

·         Always present your valid staff card and ID at check-in. Without these, you cannot travel.

·         Staff trips are subject to availability and may sell out faster than other tickets.

·         The benefit applies during ongoing employment, including leave of absence.

·         Staff trips cannot be booked after employment termination. If booked before termination, you must cancel the trip.

·         Reselling tickets for more than the booking price is not allowed.

·         Only one car per booking with a staff discount.

·         Staff prices cannot be combined with other offers or promotions.

Booking Options:

·         Book Staff travel Tickets online for yourself.

·         You can also book via Stena Line’s Call Center or Frontline, but regular booking fees apply.

Note: You cannot transfer unused trips from one year to the next.

Relative tickets

You can use relative tickets twice a year on the route you work on, only during the low season and when there are available beds in the same cabin. These tickets must be booked via the Front Line desk and are valid for family, partner, or friend. The relative must stay in the same cabin as you and cannot leave the vessel at intermediate ports.

Changes/Cancellation

The easiest way to change your booking is via the website, where you can see any price changes immediately.

Changes or cancellations via the Call Center or Frontline will incur regular fees.

Refunds for cancellations are automatically processed to the card used for booking.

Fees

Environmental- and passenger fees applies to all booking within Travel and Freight. The fees are different between routes and passenger/vehicle types. Environmental fees cover the cost of low Sulphur fuels and EU-ETS that is introduced 2024. EU-ETS is the cost of emitting mainly CO2 and will be gradually phased in during a three-year period. 

Passenger fees consist of fees paid to the port authorities and depending on route, also other fees related to the operations.

Stena Line/your employer reserves the right that the fees can be changed during the year, this can happen one or more times.
